Georgia’s PM: Kutaisi Becomes a Regional Center for Low Budget Tourists

Kutaisi becomes a regional center for low budget tourists not only in Georgia but in the region - Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia, said when commenting on  Wizzair's decision.

According to the Primer, the passenger flows  from Kutaisi Airport have  tripled and assessed  new directions as an important step for maintaining this trend.

“Four new destinations will be added from May, 2018 - Rome, Paris, Barcelona and Prague. In total, we will fly to 16 destinations in 11 European countries, which is very important for foreign  tourists and citizens of our country. From the second quarter of 2018  the railway will be available to Kutaisi Airport, we have already started construction of a new terminal to expand the existing airport”, - said Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
