Azerbaijani low-cost airline Buta Airways will operate Baku -Tbilisi flights starting September 1, Georgia’s Ministry of Economy reports.
Buta Airways will perform flights on the route instead of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL). At first stage Buta Airways will replace the Azerbaijan Airlines in four routes and starting October 29 all flights will be performed by Buta Airways,” say at the Ministry.
Buta Airways is the subsidiary of AZAL's flagship airline AZAL, founded in 2016 and is based in Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport. Apart from new directions, the company plans to expand its fleet in the nearest future.
