Georgia among the world’s 20 cheapest countries

According to GOBankingRates (GBR) latest survey findings, Georgia took the 16th place in the list of 20 cheapest countries to  live.

Data for 115 countries were studied according to several criteria - the purchasing power of Georgia’s  population, property prices, the cost of goods and services, the prices at restaurants and bars.

All data was compared with New York data.

As the study showed, cost of  living in Georgia was on average 70% cheaper than in New York.

The list also included a number of countries in the region - Ukraine took 6th place, Turkey 26th, Armenia 34th, Azerbaijan 35th.

The world’s cheapest countries are India, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
