In October, Georgians Spent GEL 134,1 Mln with Bank Cards Abroad

According to the National Bank of Georgia, visitors from our country spent a total of GEL 134,185,000 with bank cards outside Georgia, which is 43% more  than in the same period of the previous year. In October 2016, Georgian citizens paid GEL 93,789,000 from plastic cards abroad.

At the same time, in October  GEL 32 401 000 were cashed with a bank card of resident banks via ATMs  and GEL 101 784 000 via POS terminals, Imprinter and Internet.

In 10 months of 2017, Georgian citizens spent GEL 1,09 billion with bank cards abroad, which is 37.5% more than in the same period of the previous year. In January-October, 2016, the citizens spent GEL  793,1 million abroad with bank cards of  resident banks.
