Giorgi Tkemaladze Appointed as Chairman of Tbilisi City Assembly

Giorgi Tkemaladze has become the Chairman of Tbilisi City Assembly. A member of the majority Marika Darchia has presented his candidacy. 40 members voted in favor of Tkemaladze out of 45. One  was against and four  abstained from voting. 


Giorgi Tkemaladze has congratulated the newly elected members on success in elections and thanked the previous city council members and head. 

He has also congratulated Kakha Kaladze on being elected as Tbilisi’s Mayor and remarked that all processes need to be conducted transparently in the City Assembly.
