The funeral of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, will be attended by the Ecumenical Patriarch, Bartholomew.
The Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed this information to InterpressNews.
As is known, the Patriarch will be buried on Sunday, March 22, in the Sioni Cathedral.
The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, died at the age of 93. Mourning has been declared in Georgia in connection with the death of Ilia II.
