Last month, in April Kutaisi David Agmashenebeli International Airport served the highest number of passengers in the history, namely 145,137. Compared to the same period of last month, a record 49% increase in passenger traffic (April 2024 - 97,220 passengers) was recorded, and a 28% increase in flights (April 2024 - 330 flights).

In 4 months, Kutaisi David Agmashenebeli International Airport served 506,564 passengers and 1,533 flights in January-April 2025. Compared to the previous year, a 2.3% increase in passenger traffic is recorded (4 months of 2024 - 495,235 passengers), while the number of flights is unchanged.


According to the Director General of the Georgia Airports Association, expectations for the summer navigation season are even more positive in terms of passenger traffic growth.

"Since April, direct flights from Kutaisi International Airport to Madrid and Hamburg have been resumed. From June 3, a completely new direction - Lyon - will be added to Kutaisi International Airport, which is especially pleasing for our football fans. Flight frequencies on existing flights will also increase. Given all this, our expectations about passenger flows growth in the coming months are even more positive," Levan Moseshvili notes.

At this stage, 6 airlines operate direct regular flights from Davit Agmashenebeli Airport to 33 destinations in 18 countries. Of these, 24 direct destinations are European.
