The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the night of June 8 massively attacked Novorossiysk with drones, the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported. The tank farm on the territory of the Grushovaya industrial site, which is part of the Sheskharis transshipment complex, is on fire. They also hit the linear production and dispatch service (LPDS) in the Volgograd region, which pumps oil for supplies to the port of Novorossiysk.

"In Novorossiysk, due to the attack of the UAV, a fire broke out on the territory of the transshipment complex. There are no casualties," the headquarters said, adding that 130 people and 39 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing.

Local residents write in public that the tank farm of the Sheskharis transshipment complex of Chernomortransneft JSC, located in the Grushovaya Balka tract behind the Markotkh ridge, about 12 km from Novorossiysk, was hit. The strategic facility is the largest in the south of Russia, it is the end point of Transneft's main oil pipelines in the Krasnodar Territory. Dozens of storage tanks for oil and petroleum products with a total volume of over 1.2 million m3 are located on the territory.
