As of July 24, the Georgian lari has strengthened against the currencies of most major trading partners. The official USD exchange rate is 2.6285 GEL, a decrease of 0.05 tetri. The euro is now at 2.9975 GEL, and the British pound sterling at 3.5122 GEL.
The lari gained some of its value against the Swiss franc, Turkish lira, Russian ruble, and Azerbaijani manat, the Armenian dram and Ukrainian hryvnia.
