Wine exports from Georgia fell by 3.7% in the first half of 2026, amounting to $117.1 million compared to the same period in 2025.
Russia remains the top destination for Georgian wine exports, though sales have dipped. Export value for the first half of 2026 reached 69.8 million, down 3.9% from 72.7 million recorded in the same period last year.
Wine exports to Russia also experienced a decline, with a 9.6% drop in volume.
Poland is the second-largest export market for Georgian wine, receiving 8.5million worth of shipments in thefirst half of 2026, according to official statistics. Followed by Ukraine and China with export values of 6.1 million and $4.8 million, respectively.
