Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, Kvemo Kartli and Imereti regions are the regions with the highest   unemployment rate  in Georgia, Kakheti has the lowest level, at the same time, the highest average monthly salary is recorded in the business sector in Tbilisi making GEL 1505.8.

As per Sakstat data, the unemployment rate in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti region reaches 30%; in Kvemo Kartli - 25.2%; in Imereti - 23.1%. In other regions, the statistics are as follows: Shida Kartli - 22.3%; Tbilisi - 19.5%; A.R. of Adjara - 18.4%; Guria - 17.1%; Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 15.7%; Samtskhe-Javakheti- 14.9%; Mtskheta-Mtianeti- 14.7%; Kakheti - 8.7%.

As for the average monthly salary in the business sector, Tbilisi is followed by Mtskheta-Mtianeti with GEL 1,296.
