Luxembourg will host two separate intergovernmental conferences on 15 June to open the first EU accession negotiating cluster (Fundamentals) for Ukraine and Moldova.

The source said that two separate intergovernmental conferences will be held in Luxembourg on 15 June, one for Ukraine and one for Moldova.

They added that this will be preceded by intensive work in working groups and at ambassadorial level in Brussels.

A joint EU negotiating position on Cluster 1 for both Ukraine and Moldova is expected to be approved next week.
