Certain foreign agent, in the context of British sanctions, called on other radicals to unite and offer this unity to the West, more specifically, to the United States, as a political alternative to the Georgian Dream - this statement by the agents is interesting to us in the context of the fact that the incumbent US administration has openly declared a foreign policy course that implies non-interference in the internal political affairs of foreign countries ,- reads the statement of the Georgian Dream Political Council, which was introduced to the public by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

As stated in the statement, against the background of common values, the current distant position of the US towards Georgia is illogical and raises a number of questions.

"The public saw that as soon as the radical opposition received one-time assistance from foreign patrons through the sanctions of Imedi and POST TV, they began to assert the absurdity with a unified "message box", as if the government and free Georgian media were on the verge of collapse. This is another lustration and, at the same time, the tragedy of these people, that in their view, the fate of Georgia should be decided not by the Georgian people, but by an external force, because they have zero chance and hope of receiving support from the population of our country. An external force, of course, means the force that gives the local agents tasks, while at the same time assuring that now and in the future, if the tasks are unconditionally fulfilled, it will help them come to power, however, they should work not for Georgia, but for their own interests. Notwithstanding the fact what we call these forces - “deep state,” the “global war party”, or the oligarchic families, the fact is that this is precisely the kind of informal power that is embedded in the European bureaucracy today.

It is interesting that, against the backdrop of British sanctions, a specific foreign agent called on other radicals to unite and offer this unity to the West, more specifically, to the United States, as a political alternative to the Georgian Dream. He added that the Lelo party, along with its leaders, would definitely join their coalition proposed to Washington, as it would be difficult for this party to distance itself from the processes. This statement by the agents is interesting to us in light of the fact that the incumbent US administration has openly declared a foreign policy course that implies non-interference in the internal political affairs of foreign countries.

By order of President Trump, the funds financing the revolution, including USAID and NED, were demonstrably shut down, and they were closed in a way that openly exposed their covert interference in the political life of foreign countries, in organizing revolutions and violently changing governments against the will of the people. Not a week passes since the victory of the new administration in the elections without political leaders, including Vance, Rubio, Gabbard and others, emphasizing that the United States no longer intends to interfere in the political processes of other countries.

When the so-called opposition again offers the United States their “services” despite their declared policy of not interfering in the internal affairs of a foreign country, this fact raises additional questions for us.

The recent events, including the British sanctions, have once again convinced us that it will be very difficult for the European bureaucracy to free itself from informal influence in the short or even medium term. As for the US, we still hope that the fight against the so-called “deep state” announced by Donald Trump will end with the latter’s victory. The best proof of this will be the change in the American administration’s attitude towards Georgia. Against the backdrop of a common set of values, the current distanced position of the US towards Georgia is illogical and raises many questions. A change in the attitude towards Georgia will confirm that the declared fight against the “deep state” is not an imaginary event and an attempt to rebrand informal forces, but is sincere and real. We continue to maintain optimistic expectations. Everything will become clear in the near future.

In conclusion, we would like to note once again that the events that have unfolded in recent days have best demonstrated who the Georgian power is, endowed with the legitimacy of the Georgian people, and who is striving to come to power only in order to serve the vicious interests of foreign masters in Georgia," reads the party's statement.
