Tripadvisor, the world's largest travel platform, advises its users to travel to Georgia and go skiing in Gudauri- the National Tourism Administration reports.

„Located just two hours from Tbilisi (you can book a private transfer that will cost about $60 or take a marshrutka minivan for a little over $3.50), Gudauri Ski Resort is a budget-friendly trip, with ski passes running about $9 a day. Ski rentals are less than $20. If you’re a more experienced skier, don’t miss the weekend night skiing.

When you have some downtime, take one of the many gondolas to the resort’s slopeside restaurants and bars for cocktails at Gudauri Travel Bar and or khachapuri, a traditional Georgian cheese-filled bread, at The Drunk Cherry.

What to do off the slopes: Spend a half day along the Georgian Military Road exploring breathtaking landscapes and historical landmarks like the Ananuri Fortress and the Gergeti  Trinity Church.

For the adventurous type, paragliding is the ultimate adventure high (yes, even in winter). Prices vary, but most tours start around $100 and include keepsake photos and videos to relive your time in the sky.

Be sure to leave time before or after your ski adventure to explore Tbilisi, especially its cobblestoned Old

Town. Book into Fabrika Hostel & Suites, a revamped Soviet sewing factory that's now a thriving creative hub and hostel’- the article reads.
