Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, will participate in the official opening ceremony and high-level discussions at the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum. Alongside the Prime Ministers of Georgia and Azerbaijan, he will deliver a speech to the forum delegates.
According to the Ministry of Economy’s press service, the fifth edition of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum will take place on October 22–23, bringing together up to 2,000 delegates. The Ministry emphasises that the forum serves as a vital platform for dialogue and collaboration aimed at strengthening regional and global connectivity.
The event will be attended by senior political figures, representatives from the business sector and international organisations, prime ministers and vice-prime ministers from the region, as well as sectoral ministers, heads of leading global companies and financial institutions, and international experts.
For the first time, the forum will feature the Tbilisi Finance Summit on October 23. An unprecedented scale event, organised by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the National Bank of Georgia, in partnership with the Singapore-based Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN), marks a significant addition to the forum’s programme.
Panel sessions will address key topics like international trade and current challenges, transport and logistics, the development of the Middle Corridor, energy, and digital transformation. A dedicated session will focus specifically on Georgia’s investment climate and opportunities.
Since its inaugural event in 2015, the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum has grown in importance and scale, now held biennially to foster regional cooperation and development.
