According to the exchange rate set by the National Bank on January 16, today one US dollar is set at 2.6957 GEL, the euro – at 3.1316 GEL.
The exchange rate in booths as of 09:30 is as follows:
At the moment (by 9:30) citizens can buy one dollar in the currency exchange booths located on Saburtalo for 2.6930 GEL, while in the currency booths one dollar is sold for 2.6900 GEL. One euro can be purchased at 3.1600 GEL, sold for 3.1510 GEL.
In Chugureti district, citizens can buy one dollar for 2.6950 GEL, and sell for 2.6900 GEL. As for the euro, citizens can buy it for 3.1620 GEL and sell for 3.1500 GEL.
One can buy one dollar for 2.6950 GEL and sell for 2.6900 GEL at currency exchange points in the vicinity of the Station Square. As for the euro, one euro can be bought for 3.1650 GEL and sold for 3.1500 GEL.
Note: The National Bank of Georgia will set the new exchange rate today at 5pm.
