"I would advise clients to wait until February, because during this period, many airlines typically announce discounts, and air ticket prices become more affordable. And precisely during this period it's better to plan summer trips in advance," KERA TRAVEL founder and director David Kutateladze states.
He stated that 2026 commenced with considerable price stability, and currently no upward trend is seen.
"Prices for tourist packages remain stable despite traveling has become more expensive in 2025 compared to 2024," David Kutateladze notes.
A number of tourism companies report that travel prices have risen by 10-20% in the last year, though this hasn't had a significant impact on the mood of Georgian tourists.
It has been revealed that more and more Georgian tourists are traveling abroad from year to year.
"For our company, in terms of sold travel packages, last year was quite ordinary; we had the results of 2024. Throughout the year, Georgian tourists mainly prefer the Turkish destination. Individual tours to European countries and group tours, for example to South America, Thailand, and Indonesia, also traditionally remained in demand. Apart from that, at the end of the year, the capital of Qatar, Doha, became more popular, with direct flights from Georgia starting in autumn 2025. We expect these destinations to be especially popular this year as well," David Kutateladze says.
Note: as per the latest Sakstat data for Q3 2025, over 412,000 Georgian tourists traveled abroad that is 2.6% more than in the same period last year. The majority of these visits were made by tourists aged 31 to 50, inclusive.
