In December 2025, Georgia's external public debt amounted to 9.291billion(25.042billion GEL at the current exchange rate).This is702.867 million (8%) more than in the same period of last year.

Georgia's public debt stood at $8.589 billion as of December 2024.

Among the creditors, the Asian Development Bank ranks first with $2.56 billion, the World Bank second with $2.3 billion, and the European Investment Bank third with a loan of $1.2 billion.
