In the fourth quarter of 2025, Georgia earned USD 1,052.4 million from tourism that is 9.2% more compared to the same period of last year. The total annual income from tourism stood at USD 4,690.2 million, representing a 6.0% rise, according to the National Bank of Georgia (NBG).
The NBG reports that, in the fourth quarter of 2025, the share of EU countries in Georgia’s international travel income was 13.8%, amounting to USD 145.2 million, a substantial increase of 26.6% compared to the same period last year.
“Statistics indicate that revenues from visitors from Israel and Azerbaijan are experiencing significant growth, with annual increases of 37.0% and 31.6%, respectively.
Conversely, revenues from Russia have shown a declining trend, with travel income from Russia to Georgia decreasing by 23.7% in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Georgia’s tourism income by country in the fourth quarter of 2025 is distributed as follows: Azerbaijan USD 54.3 million, Belarus USD 17.0 million, Türkiye USD 151.7 million, Iran USD 24.8 million, Israel USD 156.1 million, Russia USD 133.7 million, Saudi Arabia USD 16.6 million, Armenia USD 42.2 million, Ukraine USD 43.2 million, the European Union USD 145.2 million, and other countries USD 267.5 million,” the report states.
