Gold price has continued to set multiple new record highs during 2025. The price of precious metal is currently approaching $4,000, another record for gold.
Gold is also rising in price in Georgia. Today, the most expensive is the so-called gold 999 samples. If a couple of weeks ago the price of 1 gram was 300 GEL, today you can buy it for 330-350 GEL. As for 585 gold samples, its price still fluctuates around GEL 230.
According to Goldprice, as of 16:00 Tbilisi time, the price of an ounce of gold is $3 936 US that is 1.25% more compared with the previoud day and 6.89% more than last month.
One reason for the rising value of precious metals is geopolitical tensions, so investors are looking for safe ways to invest in gold.
