Georgia’s coffee imports surged sharply this year, both in volume and price.
From January to October, the country imported 6,261 tons of coffee worth $45.4 million. In the same period last year, imports totaled $30.5 million and 5,926 tons that is aboyt a 40% rise in value, while the multi-year trend shows prices have skyrocketed by almost 80% compared to 2023.
Indonesia remains Georgia’s largest coffee supplier, followed by Russia. Both countries have significantly increased their prices for Georgia, namely, Russia by 48%, Indonesia - by 36%.
