Newmont’s gold production grew by 24% up to 6.85 million ounces by the end of 2024.
ABC.AZ reports, referring to the company, that the production of other metals (copper, silver, lead and zinc) in gold equivalent increased 2.2-fold, up to 1.94 million ounces.
In 2025, Newmont is going to produce 5.9 million ounces of gold, including 300,000 ounces of non-key assets that the company is going to sell in the 1st quarter.
Newmont is the world's largest gold producer. Its assets are located in North and South America, Africa, Australia and Oceania.
