According to Khatia Darguashvili, founder of the Anapea winery, interest in natural organic wine in export markets is not decreasing.
In her words, the winery sells almost 100% of its harvest for export and plans to actively expand in this direction in the future. Anapea is currently preparing to enter the UK market.
"Our eco-village "Anapea" includes a vineyard, a wine cellar, a wine museum, a hotel and residential buildings. We started our family business in 2014. We produce organic wines, including: Khikhvi, Kisi, Saperavi and others. We practically do not sell wine on the local market and export it. At this stage, our main export countries are
US states, Canada and a number of European countries. Interest in organic wines is not decreasing.
We really want to further develop and expand our export markets. "In this regard, we really have the support of importers," says Khatia Darguashvili.
According to the winery founder, they face some problems with wine sales on the local market, so the local market is not interesting to them.
Note: "Anapea Village" began in the fall of 2024. The complex is built on 1 ha and is located in the Kvareli district of Kakheti. The tourist complex "Anapea Village" will open a hotel and wine museum in a few days. The complex includes "Tavadis House", "Aznauri House" and 6 other houses in total, including 32 hotel rooms, which can accommodate up to 60 people.
