Canning company "Kula" has bought the assets of the German company HIPP, organic baby food manufacturer in Georgia. "Kula" is set to invest approximately $4 million in the project in 4 years. The company will start production at the end of the month.
The company's founder Vano Goglidze told Commersant that the company is set to increase production by 15% in 2025 and acquired the HIPP enterprise for this purpose.
"We are going to increase production." We plan to increase production by about 15%. We have new equipment, added new production facilities in Gori. We also bought
"HIPP" warehouse in Daba Agara. "In April, we acquired a plant and will start production there at the end of the month," says Vano Goglidze.
Fruit porridges and organic juices produced at the HIPP plant will be sold in the market under the name "Kula" as only the assets were acquired from HIPP, not the name.
