Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he will run again for office in an election scheduled for March 17, 2024.
The state-run TASS news agency quoted Putin on December 8 as saying he would run after he attended a ceremony in the Kremlin to award soldiers who had fought in Ukraine with Russia's highest military honor, the hero of Russia gold star.
