Iran has supplied Russia with the latest guided aerial bombs - OSINT analyst Bild Röpke The analyst came to this conclusion after analyzing video footage from the crash site of an Iranian Mohajer-6 heavy drone that crashed in the Kursk region (Russian Federation) last weekend. It was carrying Iranian Qaem-5 guided bombs, which the Russian army had not previously used in its war with Ukraine.

The drone was probably meant to attack the Sumy region of Ukraine, but failed to reach its target.

According to Röpke, the use of such aerial bombs may speak of a "new level" of military cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.
