Compared to the same period last year, demand for property has soared  by about 10% mainly due to the activity of foreign citizens, especially Israelis, in the market.

According to Vladimir Robakidze, director of Apex Development, Israelis buy flats in Georgia for investment purposes, this year the interest is particularly high.

Demand for property has increased by around 10% compared to the same period last year. This increase was mainly due to activity from foreign citizens, with a particularly high level of interest from Israelis.

They mainly purchase flats in Georgia as investments. In general, sales are project-based: if construction is in the initial stages, prices are low and demand is high. Interest from Israel has always been high, but this year it is particularly strong, with several groups coming and buying at the same time.

The demand is mainly for small areas, up to 35-55 square metres," Vladimir Robakidze, director of Apex Development, notes.
