In particular, statistics show that in the period from January 1 to September 30, 2023, 27 cases of premeditated murder and 25 cases of premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances were recorded in the country. According to the information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, compared to the same period of the previous year, there were 8 fewer cases of premeditated murder, and the number of premeditated murders under aggravating circumstances increased by 4.
According to the document, in 9 months of the current year, 5 cases of intentional killing of a newborn by the mother were recorded. Last year, 3 facts of the said crime were recorded.
As for other crimes against life - according to the agency, in the same period, 44 cases of attempted murder were detected, and 36 cases of attempted murder under aggravating circumstances.
In addition, 982 cases of incitement to suicide and 141 cases of negligent homicide were registered.
