In November, deposit volumes soared by GEL 439.6 million and stood at GEL 57.96 billion compared to last month while compared to the same period of the previous year, deposit volumes increased by 14% (excluding the effect of the exchange rate).

It’s worth mentioning that in November lari deposits held by household increased by 17% year-on-year (excluding the exchange rate effect), foreign currency deposits up by 12.8%.

The ratio of deposit lariization by the end of November 2024 amounted to 48.32% that is 0.98 percentage points less compared to the end of the previous month (excluding the effect of the exchange rate, it decreased by 0.83 percentage points).

It should also be noted that the volume of term deposits also increased in November 2024. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the volume of term deposits increased by 31.3% and stood at 26.5 billion GEL.
