According to the director of one of the largest shopping centers in Transcaucasia, Lilo Mall, Giorgi Kvaratskhelia, the current year was normal for the company in terms of income, but the political instability of the recent period brought certain negative results.
Kvaratskhelia notes that compared to the same period of last year, is a slight decrease is recorded due to the recent events in the country.
"The number of visitors has decreased relatively, entrepreneurs have not yet summed up the results of trade, but a slight decrease in activity is evident," Kvaratskhelia says.
The director of the shopping center does not talk about expectations and says that everything depends on the processes in the country. "At least now it is the pre-New Year period and our shopping center is in demand both among entrepreneurs and visitors. I do not know what will happen after the New Year," Kvaratskhelia notes.
"Lilo Mall" Director also talks about the large-scale expansion plan. According to him, the building permit is expected to be received, after which the expansion project will begin.
The shopping center property includes a shopping complex located on 35 hectares, where about 6,000 shops are located. "Lilo Mall" was opened 33 years ago. As of today, about 4,000 people are engaged in trading activities. More than 4 million visitors visit the shopping center every year.
