JSC Pontus, involved in the five-star hotel Pontus Rotana Resort & Spa Gonio project in the resort of Gonio, is set to launch the construction in Tbilisi as well. According to the company, Pontus is going to carry out projects not only in the capital, but also in the winter resorts of Georgia.

It’s worth mentioning that the hotel operator Rotana signed an agreement with Pontus Capital last year to build Pontus Rotana Resort & Spa Gonio. According to the company, this will be the first five-star hotel under the Rotana brand in Georgia.
The construction part of the luxury resort is scheduled to be completed by the end of next year with the total investment cost of the project of $71 million.

The new hotel, which combines traditional architecture with contemporary style, includes 550 rooms. The project also includes a private beach, restaurants, a spa, indoor and outdoor pools, a health and fitness center, and an interactive children's playground.

Natia Varshalomidze, Director of Pontus JSC is according to the latest registry data, the company's capital is up to GEL 95 million.
