In the first half of this year, the Ministry of Health distributed 4 billion 380 million GEL of the budgeted funds that is 99.2% of the six-month target. This was stated at a meeting of the Committee on Health and Social Affairs, which reviewed the six-month report on the state budget for 2025.
As stated on the official Parliament website, the funding for the Health Ministry amounts to GEL 8,820.0 million in 2025. In the first half of this year, the Ministry spent GEL 4,380.0 million, accounting for 49.7% of the annual target and 99.2% of the six-month target.
"As for the programs carried out by the Ministry, there are good performance indicators here too both in social and healthcare programs," Giorgi Kakauridze, First Deputy Minister of Finance, says.
