In November 2025 the Consumer Price Index increased by 0.4 percent compared to the previous month, while the annual inflation rate amounted to 4.8 percent.
With regard to the annual core inflation1 , the prices increased by 2.6 percent, while the annual core inflation without tobacco2 amounted to 2.3 percent.
The monthly inflation rate was mainly influenced by price changes for the following groups:
Food and non-alcoholic beverages: the prices for the group increased by 0.9 percent, contributing 0.34 percentage points to the overall monthly inflation rate. The prices increased for the following subgroups: oils and fats (4.2 percent), vegetables (3.8 percent), bread and cereals (1.9 percent), fish (1.4 percent), milk, cheese and eggs (1.4 percent), meat (1.2 percent), coffee, tea and cocoa (0.5 percent), mineral waters, soft drinks, fruit and vegetable juices (0.2 percent). At the same time, prices decreased for fruit and grapes (-6.8 percent), sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery (-1.5 percent);
Miscellaneous goods and services: the prices for the group increased by 1.8 percent, contributing 0.09 percentage points to the overall index. Within the group, the prices were higher mainly for the following subgroups: personal effects n.e.c. (3.2 percent), personal care (2.7 percent);
Furnishings, household equipment and maintenance: the prices for the group increased by 0.9 percent, contributing 0.05 percentage points to the overall monthly inflation rate. The prices increased for the following subgroups: goods and services for routine household maintenance (2.4 percent), household textiles (2.1 percent), furniture and furnishings, carpets and other floor coverings (1.5 percent), glassware, tableware and household utensils (0.7 percent). At the same time, prices decreased for household appliances (-3.1 percent), tools and equipment for house and garden (-2.3 percent);
Transport: the prices for the group decreased by 0.4 percent, contributing -0.05 percentage points to the overall index. Within the group the prices decreased for transport services (-1.4 percent) and operation of personal transport equipment (-0.3 percent).
The annual inflation rate was mainly influenced by price changes for the following groups: Food and non-alcoholic beverages: the prices in the group increased by 10.3 percent, contributing 3.48 percentage points to the overall annual inflation rate. Within the group the prices increased for the following subgroups: fruit and grapes (16.9 percent), fish (15.5 percent), oils and fats (14.9 percent), bread and cereals (13.6 percent), coffee, tea and cocoa (12.0 percent), sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery (11.6 percent), mineral waters, soft drinks, fruit and vegetable juices (8.6 percent), milk, cheese and eggs (8.5 percent), meat (6.5 percent), vegetables (5.1 percent); Health: the prices increased by 8.0 percent, contributing 0.66 percentage points to the overall index. The prices were higher for the following subgroups: out-patient services (9.0 percent), hospital services (9.0 percent), medical products, appliances and equipment (6.6 percent); Alcoholic beverages and tobacco: the prices increased by 4.4 percent, with the relevant contribution of 0.28 percentage points to the overall annual inflation rate. The prices increased for both tobacco (7.0 percent) and alcoholic beverages (1.7 percent).
