The Union of Oil Products Importers, the imports of oil bitumen and liquefied gases increased in January 2023.

According to the Union of Oil Products Importers, in January-November 2023, 8,2 thousand tons of petroleum bitumen were imported that is 15 thousand tons or 7,8% more than in the same period of 2022 (104,9 thousand tons).

In 11 months oil bitumen in the largest volume - 52,8 thousand tons was imported from Russia that is 46,7% of all imports, followed by Iraq - 40,9 thousand tons (36,2%); Turkey - 17,2 housand tons (15,2%); Azerbaijan — 1,8 thousand tons (1,6%), Iran - 0.2 thousand tons (0.2%); Turkmenistan - 0.1 thousand tons (0.1%).

As for the imports of liquefied gases, in January-November 2023, imports of liquefied gas stood at 51,5 thousand tons that is 12,5 thousand tons or 32% more than in the same period of last year (39 thousand tons).

In 11 months of the current year, 99,6% (51,3 thousand tons) of liquefied gas (LPG) imports came from the Russian Federation.
