In January-October 2025 the external merchandise trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 20 831.5 million, 8.6 percent higher year-on-year. The exports equaled 5 835.9 million (6.8 percent higher), while the imports stood at USD 14 995.7 million (9.3 percent higher). The negative trade balance was USD 9 159.8 million in January-October 2025 and its share in external trade turnover constituted 44.0 percent.

In January-October 2025 the share of the top ten trading partners by exports in the total exports of Georgia amounted to 79.4 percent. The top partners were Kyrgyzstan (USD 1 233.1 million), Kazakhstan (USD 743.8 million) and Russia (USD 608.3 million).

In January-October 2025 the share of the top ten trading partners by imports in the total imports of Georgia amounted to 71.0 percent. The top partners were USA (USD 2 271.8 million), Türkiye (USD 2 265.4 million) and China (USD 1 620.2 million).

In January-October 2025 the share of the top ten trading partners in the total external trade turnover of Georgia amounted to 68.4 percent. The top trading partners were Türkiye (USD 2 536.2 million), USA (USD 2 343.3 million) and Russia (USD 2 145.9 million).
