At this stage, we have no tourists; November is a slow month. We are expecting December, as the number of clients increases during this month. Overall, December is an active month in the winter season; for example, in January, our occupancy rate is 80%. We already have bookings for December (30%), but this figure will naturally increase with the start of the month. Specifically, active bookings will begin from December 20th. For the New Year, we expect an occupancy rate of 90–100%; we always operate at full capacity on New Year's Eve. When the ski season starts, we don't complain about the number of consumers; the flow of visitors starts to decline from March. The ski season obviously has a direct impact on our operations.
"We expect both locals and foreigners. People come to our place from France, Germany,
Europe and other countries," stresses the founder of the cottage complex in Mestia.
Note: "Mountain Huts" complex in Svaneti, Mestia is located next to the cable car and has been operating in the local market for 6 years. The tourist complex consists of 5 wooden cottages and a cafe, with each cottage accommodates four people.
