Georgian ice cream exports have hit record high. According to Sakstat, in January-July 2025, Georgia exported 68 tons of ice cream worth 767.5 thousand dollars  that is the highest figure since 2014 (data has been available on the Foreign Trade Portal since that time).

As for the same period last year, exports grew by about  288%. In 7 months of 2024, the ice cream exports stood at 198 thousand dollars.

It is worth mentioning  that this year the main importer of Georgian ice cream is Azerbaijan, where 516.3 thousand dollars were exported. Before that, in the past 4 years, Georgian ice cream exports were not carried out  to Azerbaijan at all.

Armenia is the second with 251.2 thousand dollars worth of ice cream.

As for imports, Georgia bought ice cream worth $5.759 million in January-July this year. The main importing countries were Turkey ($1.796 million) and Ukraine ($1.290 million). Russia is also among the top three, from where ice cream worth $671,000 was imported in January-July 2025.
