"Cartu" foundation is set to build a multi-functional district consisting of 16 buildings in Tbilisi, in Isani district, on Beri Gabriel Salosi avenue in the seemingly abandoned area of the former shoe factory with old buildings.

The territory of the multi-functional complex starts at number 116 of Gabriel Salos avenue and ends at number 124. It is planned to place 16 buildings in the area, the main will have mixed function, the lowest of the buildings will be 10-storey, the tallest - 32-storey. The territory consists of several plots with the total area of 82742 sq.m.

The number of required  underground parking lots will be calculated in accordance with the legislation, additional 140 parking lots will be placed in the outer area.
In order to create high-class living conditions, 5 sports grounds for the complex residents are planned to be arranged.

A multi-purpose building with developed commercial and office spaces will be placed on the area adjacent to the highway," the project's explanatory card reads.


According to the extract from the public register, the territory of the shoe factory is shared by three private companies:

• "Elita Burji" LLC;

• JSC "Isani-Cartu";

• "Iveria 90" LLC.

The owner of "Iveria 90" LLC is "Elita Burjia" LLC, whose 100% share is owned by "Cartu" Foundation. JSC "Isani-Cartu" is a subsidiary company of "Cartu Fund", whose chairman Besik Demetrashvili is a member of the supervisory board of "Cartu Bank".
