"Adjara Textile’s " revenue soared by 13% to GEL 333.6 million in 2022.

According to the management report, about 7 thousand people are employed in "Adjara Textile" factories. The company sews more than 10 million units of products annually and exports the products according to the agreements with global brands. The company owns sewing factories in Poti - with up to 3 thousand staff; in Batumi with up to 3 thousand staff and in Kobuleti where one thousand people are employed.

According to the report, out of GEL 294 million the company earned, GEL 248 million are spent on materials. GEL 49.3 million are allocated for the salaries.


"Adjara Textile" ended the year 2022 with a net profit of GEL 17.5 million.

The assets of "Adjara Textile" amount to GEL 95.5 million, the company’s liabilities total GEL 36 million.

Ajara Textile was set up in 2008 through Turkish investments when an old tea factory was purchased and Ajara Textile established as a local subsidiary. 50%-50% shares of the company are owned by Cemal Bilgingulluoglu and Kemal Bilgingulluoglu.

They also founded "Kartli Textile" company which also owns a sewing factory located in the city of Rustavi.

The company cooperates with global brands such as Nike, Puma, Adidas, New Balance, Under Armor and others.
