President Volodymyr Zelensky, together with the negotiating team and the government, has defined directions for post-war reconstruction that require deeper elaboration in the agreement with the United States. He shared these nuances via Telegram, underscoring the priority of a fast and coordinated pace in the country’s rebuilding process.

The head of state noted that, together with our negotiating team and government officials, the focus is on provisions that require more detailed consideration and clarifications to ensure sustainable development after the war and the effective use of American support.

“We identified with our negotiating team and government officials the matters that need to be worked out more deeply in the U.S. agreement on post-war reconstruction. Work with the American side is moving ahead actively, and from the Ukrainian side – maximum speed,” he wrote.

At the center of attention are clear financing mechanisms, transparent rules for using funds, and effective coordination between the authorities, business, and civil society. There is also talk of strengthening the partnership with the United States in the areas of transport, energy, and rebuilding critical infrastructure to accelerate recovery in the affected regions.

The corresponding negotiations continue, and the Ukrainian side continues to work on detailing the conditions of the agreement to launch reconstruction programs as quickly as possible and establish transparent mechanisms to monitor the use of support.
