In 2025, commercial banks operating in Georgia made a record profit of over 3.3 billion GEL. For comparison, according to the central bank’s financial report, 17 commercial banks operating in Georgia made a total net profit of over 3.09 billion GEL in 2024.

Fifteen of the 19 commercial banks concluded the year profitably, while four recorded a loss.

As per the National Bank, Bank of Georgia led the ranking with a 1.6 billion GEL profit. Followed by TBC with a 1.3 billion GEL profit, and Liberty Bank claimed the third place with 126 million GEL.

Among the unprofitable banks are Hashbank, Paysera, VTB, and Silkbank.
