In 2025, 35,615 employees in Georgia earned GEL 100,000 or more per month, an increase of 6,300 compared to 2024. High earners collectively received GEL 8.18 billion in salaries, up GEL 1.2 billion from the previous year, the Revenue Service reports.
Overall, 1.26 million employees earned salaries last year totaling GEL 32.8 billion, including personal income tax. 35,807 employees earned less than GEL 600 per month, while 416,239 earned between GEL 1,200 and GEL 12,000 per month.
These figures show both the growth of high-paid employees and the wide range of salaries in Georgia’s labor market.
