Vistara, India’s premier full-service airline, has announced a new feature for its international flights: 20 minutes of complimentary Wi-Fi. If reports are to go by, this service will be available on Vistara’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A321neo aircraft, marking a milestone as Vistara becomes the first Indian airline to offer free in-flight Wi-Fi across all cabins.
This initiative is in line with Vistara's commitment to enhancing the travel experience for its customers. Passengers will be able to use the free 20 minutes of Wi-Fi to stay connected during their flight. For those needing more internet access, the airline offers additional Wi-Fi plans that can be purchased using Indian credit or debit cards. To facilitate these transactions, passengers will receive one-time passwords via email, allowing them to easily buy extra connectivity during their active session.
In addition to complimentary Wi-Fi, Vistara’s modern fleet is equipped with advanced in-flight entertainment systems, providing nearly 700 hours of content, including movies, TV shows, and audio titles. The connectivity is powered by Panasonic Avionics, ensuring seamless internet access at 35,000 feet, enabling passengers to access social media, check emails, and stay informed.
