US President Donald Trump has said the US reached an agreement with Iran and that the Strait of Hormuz will open.
Trump made the announcement in a social media post on Sunday. He wrote, "The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete."
Trump also said: " I hereby fully authorize the toll free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and, simultaneously herewith, authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval blockade. Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow!"
Iran's deputy foreign minister said the text of the memorandum of understanding has been finalized and will be signed in Switzerland on Friday.
