US President Donald Trump has unveiled his own mobile operator , Trump Mobile , and a new smartphone in a gold case, The Guardian reports .

This is another step in the development of his business empire, which is now headed by his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.

The project was presented on Monday, June 16, the 10th anniversary of the start of Trump's election campaign in 2015.

The new mobile operator will offer a tariff plan for $47.45 per month — a symbolic amount, since Trump is the 47th president of the United States.

In addition, in September 2025, the company plans to launch the T1 smartphone in a gold case with an engraving of the American flag.

The smartphone will run on Android 15 and will have a 6.8-inch screen, a 50-megapixel camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery.

Its price will be $499, which is about three times cheaper than the new iPhone, but the device is positioned as a luxury product due to its design.

The T1 will also have a headphone jack, which most manufacturers have long since removed.

Trump Mobile claims that its coverage is on par with leading US carriers Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile, which control almost the entire US mobile market.

According to Donald Trump Jr., the plans include expanding services: from telemedicine to 24/7 roadside assistance and unlimited messaging in over 100 countries.

The project is being implemented through licensing agreements that have already brought Trump over $8 million in 2024.
