The registration for Donald Trump's "Trump Card," also known as the "Gold Card," has started. US President Donald Trump announced this via his social media Truth Social. The card aims to offer permanent U.S. residency to foreign nationals willing to pay $5 million to the U.S. government.
In a statement posted to Truth Social, Trump promoted the card as a premium alternative to the Green Card, calling it “a beautiful road to gaining access to the Greatest Country and Market anywhere in the World.”

Thousands have been calling and asking how they can sign up,” he wrote, encouraging applicants to join the waiting list at TRUMPCARD.GOV.

However, Trump reportedly emphasized that the card provides a pathway to citizenship, not automatic citizenship itself. According to reports, Trump had earlier claimed the program does not require congressional approval, positioning it as an executive-level initiative that bypasses traditional immigration channels.

Trump had described the “Gold Card” as “somewhat like a Green Card, but at a higher level of sophistication". Trump had also pitched it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for high-net-worth individuals to legally reside in the U.S.
