Starting today, Armenia is ready to ensure truck transit from Turkey to Azerbaijan and back along the Margara-Yeghegnadzor-Sisian-Goris route, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced during a parliamentary discussion of the 2026 draft state budget.

"This is the only option we can implement right now. Our roads to Goris and Kornidzor are in good condition, and we can ensure transit. The first shipment of wheat from Kazakhstan to Armenia via Azerbaijan is currently in the process. It will be transported by rail through Azerbaijan and Georgia," Pashinyan said.

He recalled that the process of unblocking communications in the region is being implemented as part of the TRIPP project.

'Intensive work is currently underway with the United States to implement the TRIPP project,'. Pashinyan announced.

"This project is new for us and the region. It has many nuances. I am confident that the issues will be discussed and solutions found as soon as possible. The program will be implemented," Pashinyan said.

The declaration signed in Washington on August 8 by the leaders of Armenia, the United States, and Azerbaijan formalized the agreement to implement the regional project "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP).
