The US Embassy in Georgia has stated that it is not permissible to use a US visa for the primary purpose of giving birth in the United States to obtain US citizenship for the child. This practice, known as birth tourism, is considered an abuse of the immigration system and can lead to visa application denial or future travel restrictions. Consular officers are instructed to deny visas to those who intend to travel to the US primarily for this purpose. 

Note: Visa applications will be denied if there's reason to believe the applicant's primary purpose is to give birth in the US for citizenship. Abusing the visa system can lead to future visa denials or restrictions on travel to the US.
