A new European airline, Air Serbia, has entered the Georgian aviation market- the United Airports of Georgia reports.
The United Airports of Georgia, with the involvement of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, successfully concluded negotiations with Serbia’s flagship carrier. The airline will operate direct regular flights to and from Tbilisi three times a week using an Airbus 319.
Air Serbia is the successor to Aeroput, the first Serbian national airline, established in 1927. In 2024, the total passenger flow between Georgia and Serbia reached 16,839 passengers, a 66% increase compared to 2023,” the statement noted.
