A march is underway from the Kashveti Cathedral to the Trinity Cathedral in connection with family purity day.
Before that, in celebration of this day, regent Metropolitan Shio (Mujiri) of Senaki and Chkhorotsku performed doxology at the Kashveti Cathedral.
In addition, Reverend Shio conveyed the prayer of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, to the parish.
According to the organizers, they will perform a thanksgiving prayer in the Trinity Cathedral.
As a reminder, the Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia declared May 17 as the family purity day in 2014.
